  WE ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS WITH SPECIAL RATES DURING CONSTRUCTION

We continue to grow and improve Hub's. There are a few slips available for summer 2012. Store and Launch is open with a few spots available. Call or email to reserve your place soon. The south parking lot is repaired and in great shape. Upgrades to the north parking area will be made this spring. Our famous plumber has the pump out station up and running. Let Mark know if you'd be interested in using a portable pump out station. Future projects include: Clubhouse with flush toilets, showers, screen porch, kitchen and possible laundry facilities; up to 21 additional slips to help keep rates low; our own service department. Please share your ideas and suggestions with us!

Hastings Bridge MNDOT site

Construction on our side of the river is now away from the parking lot and mainly over the water. Recent word is that they may place the main bridge span in August 2012 and begin work on the ring road this fall. The nice weather has allowed crews to get ahead of schedule.

The Asian Carp Migration upstream is a real and devastating threat to our waters! Evidence of three of the four species has been found in our pool. To help stop the migration of these fish that would wipe out recreational boating in our area we need to push our officials into action. There are also plenty of things us boaters can do as well. First limit the lockage's that we take through the locks and dams. Second dump your bait out rather then transport it between lakes and rivers. Lets put pressure on our officials to limit the lockage's starting at lock and dam 19.        We are looking to see if on a volunteer bases setting up a set schedule to lock through the lock and dams in our area. Working with the Barge Industry is it possible to see if we can set up set times through out the day for boaters to lock through without waiting for tow boats? Attached is a power point presentation with statistics showing how this practice can slow the migration down till science can catch up.

The lack of winter precipitation makes it look like there should be no flooding this spring!
